Decision Sciences, a unit of the Department of Managerial Sciences, offers programs at the undergraduate, master’s, MBA and Ph.D. levels. Decision Sciences programs blend the areas of data analysis, business modeling, and applications of information technology for decision support.
The Decision Sciences major provides the requisite expertise for analytically oriented careers in business with emphasis on applications of information technology. Applications for information technology include decision support systems, business intelligence, data mining and knowledge management. Analytical areas span data analysis, business modeling, managerial sciences, statistical modeling and financial modeling.
